Brother-in-law winemakers Gian Paolo and Marcello, who started the tiny Podere il Salecito estate in the classic Lambrusco area near Modena, work only with indigenous varietals like the traditional Lambrusco Salamino grape here.

A fresh and fragrant dry sparkling wine made with the Charmat method with grapes exclusively obtained from Lambrusco Salamino. T he Charmat method is a winemaking technique used to produce sparkling wine where the secondary fermentation, which creates bubbles, occurs in large, pressurized tanks instead of individual bottles, resulting in a faster production process and typically a lighter, fruitier style of sparkling wine compared to the traditional method; it's also often referred to as the "tank method" or "bulk process" and is commonly used for wines like Prosecco. 

Appellation: Lambrusco di Modena DOP

Tasting Notes: On the nose, black and blue fruits, with hints of leather, with a deeper and more saturated plummy character. You'll find a richness and a softening sweetness that is lifted by the persistent fizz.

Pairing: Pairs beautifully with salami or pizza, but works perfectly as an aperitivo. Alos workd withe desserts like chocolate.
