Le Pezze Pinot Grigio 2023

Made by the Farina family, though sourced from the foothills of the Val d'Alpon instead of their normal estate vineyards. This Pinot Grigio is grown in the volcanic soils around Verona and made ramato style with a bit of time on skins for a pinkish hue. Whilst not certified organic, Claudio and Elena are attentive to this cultivation method. No pesticides are ever used, and natural techniques for pest control are encouraged.

Tasting Notes: Delicate on the nose, characterised by subtle floral touches followed by hints of apples and vegetal notes. Dry and medium-bodied, the palate faithfully reflects the nose, being fresh and satisfying. A simple wine, that’s both delicious and highly enjoyable.

Pairing: Seafood, grilled fish, mussels and clams. Raw fish or just to start as an aperitivo !
