This wine is made up of a blend of classic Veneto varieties. Made in the 'Ripasso' style indicative of the area's tradition. The first fermentation takes place in autumn. The second fermentation begins in spring when the wine is 'passed over' the skins of the Amarone pomace. This pomace is still laced with Amarone wine itself, as such, the Ripasso style extracts further structure, aroma, colour and personality.
Tasting Notes: On the first sip, spiced cherries, plum and peppercorns. Plush red berries and aniseed on the palate, tart red cherry-like acidity and a whole lot of suppleness.
Pairing: Excellent with a variety of meat dishes and mature cheeses.
Alcohol Content: 14%
