The Story

From the heart of Lussurgiu, a small mountain village in central Sardinia, comes Judu Mirto a deeply authentic liqueur made by Distillerie Lussurgesi, a family-run craft distillery that has carried forward the island’s oldest recipes for generations.
This traditional Mirto is created by macerating hand-picked myrtle berries in pure grain alcohol, capturing the essence of Sardinia’s rugged landscape, wild herbs, sea breeze, and sun-warmed berries.
Every bottle tells the story of Sardinia’s people: proud, patient, and connected to nature. “Judu” means game or play, a nod to the joyful spirit this liqueur brings to any table.

Tasting Notes

Deep garnet-purple in colour, Judu Mirto opens with intoxicating aromas of ripe myrtle berries, juniper, bay leaf, and Mediterranean maquis.
The first sip is sweet yet balanced, unfolding with flavours of forest fruit, balsamic herbs, and soft spice before giving way to a silky, lingering finish marked by freshness and gentle warmth.
