Why we chose this wine
This is a bright, juicy and beautifully drinkable Sicilian red we love for the table. Made from Grenache (Alicante) by Tenuta Ypsilon in Sicily, it’s all about ripe red berries, soft spice and a gentle savoury edge, with smooth tannins and fresh, easy acidity that keeps it light on its feet.
Gently handled with no heavy oak influence, it stays balanced, relaxed and incredibly easy to enjoy. Food-friendly, unfussy and quietly elegant this is exactly the kind of red we’re happy to pour in our restaurant and one we always recommend when someone wants a red that feels approachable and immediately enjoyable.
