Montefili Rosato Sangiovese 2020

Serena Gusmeri is the female winemaker. A limited release from a single vineyard, this rosato was crafted from a premium selection of Montefili's sangiovese, making for a fresh and very food-friendly wine with great structure and balance. It has a beautiful pink hue.

Tasting Notes: The nose is clean and well-defined with an abundant bouquet of elderflowers and rose petals. Fruity notes of juicy ripe apricots and pomegranate with a tropical touch of passionfruit. The fruity palate is reminiscent of fresh strawberries and cream with floral and herbaceous notes of acacia, jasmine, and rosemary.

Pairing: Italian antipasti, charcuterie boards and all types of spicy dishes. A pasta Vongole this is what I am thinking right now. Think like olives, bread and olive oil. Life is simple.
