Why we chose this wine
From northern Sardinia, this is a vibrant, character-filled red made from Muristellu (locally known as Bovale Sardo), crafted by Tenuta Olbios. ‘Amur’ is all about freshness and drinkability, with bright red cherry and wild berry notes, a gentle herbal edge and that unmistakable Mediterranean lift.
There’s no heavy oak here, just clean fruit, fine tannins and a lively, savoury finish that keeps the wine light on its feet and incredibly food-friendly. Honest, expressive and quietly distinctive, it’s the kind of bottle that works effortlessly at the table and surprises people in the best way.
