Why we chose this wine
This is a wine made for the table, bright, juicy and easy to enjoy from the first glass. From Tenuta Mazzolino in Oltrepò Pavese, this Bonarda shows the grape in its most honest form: fresh, vibrant and full of energy rather than heavy or brooding.
There’s a lively core of dark cherry and plum, gentle spice and a soft, refreshing finish that makes it incredibly drinkable with food.
Light on its feet but full of character, it’s the kind of red you open for a casual meal and realise halfway through the bottle just how effortlessly it disappears.
