Why we chose this wine
This is a textured, expressive and beautifully balanced Fiano we love for the table. Made by Pierluigi Zampaglione, it’s all about ripe citrus, pear and subtle herbal notes, layered with a gentle nuttiness and a mineral, saline finish that gives the wine real presence without weight.
Carefully handled to let the grape speak, there’s no heavy oak influence just purity, depth and a natural tension between freshness and texture. It’s a Fiano that feels generous but precise, with enough structure to stand up to food while remaining easy to enjoy on its own.
Food-friendly, unfussy and quietly distinctive, this is the kind of wine we’re happy to pour in the restaurant and always recommend when someone wants a white with character but no sharp edges. If you enjoy whites with substance, balance and a strong sense of place, this is a very safe and rewarding place to start.
