Poggio Al Tesoro Solosole Bolgheri DOC 2022

Marilisa Allegrini is the driving force behind the creation of Poggio al Tesoro.

This wine comes from the Sondraie vineyard of the Poggio Al Tesoro estate. This west-facing vineyard is rooted on deep sand, gravel and clay, and is surprisingly cool-climate. This wine is harvested at night before a gentle pressing of whole grapes, fermented in stainless steel and aged on fine lees with some bottle ageing before release.

Tasting Notes: On the nose, you’ll find subtle hints of grapefruit and apple blossom. The palette, expect a hit of green mango that develops into juicy stone fruits. A medium-bodied wine with a lingering, refreshing acidity.

Pairing: The perfect accompaniment to any fish dishes. Raw fish is exeptionnel with it. in the restaurant I like to pair it with our crudos even oysters.
