Why we chose this wine
Tribute Schloesser isn’t about a single grand château or a famous family name, it’s about a tribute to the old-world craft of Champagne itself. The name “Schloesser,” meaning cellars, nods to the deep, chalky underground caves that have quietly shaped Champagne for centuries.
Rather than focusing on one estate, the philosophy is rooted in careful sourcing and blending, bringing together fruit from across the Champagne region. It’s a style inspired by tradition—where the art lies not just in growing grapes, but in assembling them into something harmonious and timeless.
There’s a strong respect for the classic method: slow aging, patience on lees, and letting the wine evolve naturally in the cellar. Nothing rushed, nothing overworked—just a focus on clarity, balance, and expression.
In many ways, it’s less about telling one story, and more about capturing the essence of Champagne as a whole elegant, understated, and built on generations of quiet expertise.
In the glass, it’s all about fine bubbles, crisp green apple, lemon zest, and a chalky mineral line that keeps everything focused and alive. The Extra Brut finish is dry, clean, and quietly lingering.
It feels refined but never rigid a Champagne for long lunches, good light, and even better company.
